In 2024, the Foundation collaborated with Starfish Malaysia Foundation to advance educational initiatives in Sabah aimed at strengthening access to learning for indigenous communities. Through infrastructure development and educational support, the initiative seeks to create more inclusive and sustainable learning opportunities for future generations.

Contribution Overview

A contribution of RM645,000 was made towards the development of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) centre, school-based learning hubs, and upgraded student facilities. The initiative also supported improvements to hostels and learning environments, creating safer, more conducive spaces for learning and student development.

Impact

The initiative advances educational access for indigenous communities through improved learning facilities, educational resources, and student support infrastructure. By fostering more inclusive learning environments, it contributes towards long-term educational development and greater opportunities for students in rural communities.
